Badlands Droid Builders is a local droid-building club bringing life-size and miniature droids to conventions and community events. Every droid here was designed and built by a club member -- come say hi and ask about the build!
How to Play
What is this? Droid Hunt is a scavenger hunt through every droid built by Badlands Droid Builders. Find a droid, check it in, and watch the community progress bar below fill up as everyone finds them together.
Scanning an NFC tag: most modern phones read NFC without any app -- just hold the back of your phone against the tag on or near a droid for a second, and a notification will pop up to open its page. (Make sure NFC is turned on; it is by default on most phones.)
Scanning a QR code: no luck with NFC? Every droid also has a QR code posted nearby. Open your camera app, point it at the code, and tap the link that appears.
Either way checks that droid in for the whole community and takes you straight to its page. Just browsing the gallery or a droid's page never checks it in -- only scanning the actual tag or code does.
