The DJ Rex Full LED Set brings together every LED board for your DJ Rex build into a single, discounted kit. Buy the boards as a set and save versus purchasing them individually.
What’s included
- Body LED Set – 3 boards, plus 25 Bivar VLP-600-R light pipes for the small body LEDs.
- Mouth LED Board – the DJ Rex mouth board.
- Eye LED Board – one board fitted with 8 mm NeoPixel-style LEDs.
What you’ll need to complete it
- A controller for the LEDs — an Arduino Nano or Pi Pico breakout works well. RS-485 Nano breakouts are also available if you want to connect to a larger control system. Sample code runs on the WS2812 NeoPixel / FastLED libraries.
- A clean 5V power supply. These LEDs are 5V only — do not run them at 6V.
- 2.54 mm 3-pin Dupont jumper cables (standard 3-pin servo wires) to interconnect the boards.
Note: headers are not pre-installed on the mouth boards — add your own header or connect a cable of your choice.
